DriveCon® CURE®

DriveCon® CURE is a water-soluble liquid that is used in the curing process of DriveCon® permeable concrete. When applied, it creates a plastic film on the surface of the concrete, which helps to slow down water evaporation. This helps to prevent loose aggregate on the surface caused by the rapid drying of the cement.

To provide additional protection in the summer months, it is recommended to cover the DriveCon® CURE with polythene plastic film. This should be applied once the DriveCon® CURE is touch dry or as the colour begins to fade.

There are several benefits to using DriveCon® CURE. It can reduce the chances of plastic shrinkage by up to 80%, as long as the surface has been properly watered before concrete placement. In cooler months, using DriveCon® CURE can minimize the need for the polythene plastic film. It can also significantly reduce concrete water evaporation by up to 80% in windy conditions and up to 60% in sunlight.

The DriveCon® CURE is easy to apply thanks to its distinctive Fluro pink/red color, which ensures even coverage. Once the product is cured, it leaves no staining or residue behind. Additionally, DriveCon® CURE can be diluted, which helps to reduce costs per square meter.
